Austral features Melbourne-based artists Angus Barbary (fiddle, vocals, mandola), Caity Brennan (fiddle, vocals) Rhys Crimmin (guitar, percussion, didgeridoo, vocals) and Connor Hoy (Uilleann pipes, flute, whistle). Austral's original music is infectiously toe-tapping and you may find it hard to resist the urge to get up and dance yourself. They have developed their own unique high-energy live sound and have a world-class stage presence full of Aussie flair. Austral are making waves in the contemporary Celtic and folk music scene and due to standout live performances at festivals at home and abroad, they are a band not to be missed.
